The Purgrain brand is just one of the many brands of pet and animal feeds produced by family-owned Moyer & Son, Inc. in Souderton, PA. The company has been in business since 1869 and is still owned and operated by the Moyer family today. All products are USA ingredient-sourced and produced daily in our Souderton mill.

In 1973, with a keen eye on the marketplace, Moyer purchased the rights of the Purgrain feed from Stanford Seed of Philadelphia. Moyer & Son was making its own brand of pigeon feed; the purchase of the well-known and respected Purgrain brand was just what the company was looking for to bolster its feed sales. Over 40 years later Purgrain feed is still known in the marketplace as "sparkling clean pigeon feed" and is the choice of award-winning fliers and fanciers.
